Droning On is an original mixed media painting being released as part of the 25 Days of Minis for 2019.

Despite being allergic to bee stings as a child, bees are one of my favorite insects. Bumblebees in particular – I love their big, fuzzy bumblebutts! In the summertime I have lovely conversations with them while I am working in the garden, all of us just as busy as, well, bees…

Created on a 6″x6″ wood panel, this one of a kind artwork was handmade by Alecia Miller through a process of layering old book pages in the background and utilizing the transparency of the paints to achieve the feel of the final painting.

The artwork has been sealed with a protective varnish and is mounted in a black wood frame, ready to display in your home.
